North mobilizes to save Ayden, 18 months, an incurable disease

During the first months of his life, the little Ayden, born in the Nord-Pas-de-Calais, was a baby like any other. Unfortunately, at the age of eight months, his parents noticed that his behavior had changed, he was crying more had less appetite and slept poorly. They then discovered that the little Ayden was diagnosed with Krabbe disease, an incurable disease that attacks the nervous system and prevents the child to coordinate movements. The life expectancy of children with this disease is very limited, only two years.

The mother of the little Ayden has yet discovered that there is an experimental treatment that already has a child with the same disease that is located in Quebec. This treatment reduces the appearance of symptoms and therefore increase the life expectancy of children. To qualify for this treatment, the boy's mother decided to open a Facebook page to collect as many donations. 50,000 euros have already been harvested and through this page called "Glimmer of hope for Ayden." Meanwhile, some residents of Nord-Pas-de-Calais have decided to mobilize and make every effort to ensure that the little Ayden could benefit from this treatment.
